Storm Damage – Lenoir City Condominium

Storm damage to this Lenoir City Condominium was the result of a very severe storm that packed high winds. The residents were away when the storm hit. Flying debris broke the windows in the kitchen in between cabinets and over the sink. The particle board cabinets took on a lot of moisture as the rainwater wicked into the particle board. The water got through the linoleum flooring and soaked the plywood subfloor. SERVPRO of Loudon & Roane Counties would demolish the cabinetry and strip down the kitchen for drying and sanitizing. Our industry certified technicians would set up commercial air movers and dehumidifiers to increase the circulation and evaporation of moisture to help the drying process. Finally, a new kitchen would be installed.
